The thermal park of Saturnia is one of the largest in Europe, it has four outdoor thermal pools, one of which is spring water, whirlpools, hot water / cold water vascular paths and thermal waterfalls. The resort also includes a wellness area with sauna, restaurant, an elegant hotel and a golf club with an 18-hole par72 course.

Water properties

The waters of Saturnia are born from the source on the summit of Mount Amiata and after a long journey, which lasts about 40 years, during which it filters drop by drop between the cracks in the rock enriching itself with precious vitamins and mineral salts, flows to the natural source of Saturnia with a flow rate of 500 l / s and a temperature of 37.5 ° C. The water is classified as Sulphur-Carbonic-Sulphate-Bicarbonate-Alkaline-Earthy, rich in minerals, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide. One of the most important elements in the composition of the waters of Saturnia is certainly the thermal plankton that gives the very important beneficial properties that act on the skin, on the circulatory, respiratory, digestive and motor systems. Thermal plankton has a composition very similar to that of the skin and is therefore easily assimilated by the epidermis, providing precious minerals, trace elements, nitrogenous substances and vitamin compounds,
thermal plankton also increases the skin’s natural defenses and reactivates vital functions, it also has an important nourishing, moisturizing, purifying action and stimulates cell renewal, slowing down the natural aging process.

How to get to the Terme di Saturnia

Our farm is only 2.8 km from the Terme di Saturnia. To reach the thermal baths it is sufficient to proceed west on the Saturnia-Pitigliano road for about 700 meters, then turn left and continue on the SP10 for another 450 meters and finally turn right and continue for another 1.9km. Or via the internal road which is 1.7 km.
